We have never looked back.... Bodhi Farm here we come.

Hi there,
We are an average family that is following our dream, to be sustainable and give our kids the best possible life we can.

It all started in Adelaide, SA. We had a house in the south and a block of land in Murray Bridge which we had all intentions of moving onto and pursuing our dream.

We welcome you to share our journey with us and join our quest for becoming as self sufficient as possible and share our dreams and plans, successes and failures.

Late last year after my husband did a permaculture course in the north of the state, and being alluded to the fact that the Murray was in a sad state of affairs, I decided to look around Australia at the possbility of moving ourselves and our dream elsewhere. It did not take long and after a few months of research I decided that perhaps we should go on a holiday and check Tasmania out for ourselves. We have always loved being close to nature and felt that a life away from the fast lane was what we needed.

We went on a holiday for a month and travelled around pretty much most of the state before we decided that the south was the way to go. We battled early mornings and very late afternoons and a tough budget to finally walk away on the very last day before we left, knowing that we would come back to the south of Huonville. We felt relieved but at the same time the realisation that we now had to tell our close friends and family. This should not be that hard!!!!!
