When the S..t hits the fan.

Among our friends over here, and others that aware of what is happening in the world regarding climate change and the enviroment, the saying "when the sh..t hits the fan" is our favourite saying.
After quite a few discussions a couple of nights ago and talking to a friend who discovered that the situation regarding food around the world is getting worse, we came to the conclusion that things are already well on their way to making our lives a great challenge and we think that it is going to happen sooner than we think.
I know that this topic is a very contraversial one and some people do not believe that it is true and all these things that are happening are just a cycle. I dont think so.... There is a mountain of evidence supporting this and i dont even know where to start. One of our driving reasons for us to move to Tasmania was the fact that the Murray River was dying at a rate of knots and is looking very grim. We could never do what we wanted to do in regards to growing organic vegetables and having orchards and so forth with no back up of water to support this. Also our land would not be worth anything soon so we are glad that we got out when we did.
This is just the start.....
