And we are on our way.... to the next shed

Well we really feel like we are getting somewhere. The 6x15 shed has now officially been finished bar the electrical work that needs to be done. We have concreted the floor and today we had our stuff that we have had in storage delivered. This is not only a money relief but also a useful one. We quite often forget what we have in storage which is pretty easy to do considering how long we have been without the stuff.

We worked on putting the box section up for the 6x12 shed which is going to be our strawbale one. After working out the diagonals and measurements we then started setting to work putting the box together and making sure that it was all level with the laser level and also the right length and width. After this it was time to put the formacon plastic down as a moisture barrier and then the rio mesh was laid down. By this time it was getting fairly late in the day and time to think about getting home, but not before we had to move the goats as they had pretty much eaten all the grass that they had around them. This always proves a fun task as Cheeky thinks that he is suddenly off his lead and he is so strong and loves playing.

It is so good to see that the goats are really getting along well and love playing with each other, but Jill is still head of the pack and occasionally lets Cheeky know this.

Well it is only a week now until my parents come over from Adelaide for a visit, we are all pretty excited about it and no doubt they are too. It will be pretty exciting to show them our new patch of what we now call our home.

Attached are some pictures of the 6x15 shed going up.......and of course some pictures of the kids helping and Tao doing some concreting....and the kids shed.
The whole open bay part of the shed is now completely full of straw bales waiting to be used for the next project.

See you soon.
Tanya
