Rain, Rain and more Rain

It has been a very wet day and night. Fantastic really because we need it. Apparently Geeveston had 20mm in 24hrs, I can hardly wait to see our dams and measure their progress.
On the way to work this morning the roads looked like there was a hurricane passing through the place. There was debris everywhere, trees upturned, leaves and pieces of roofing iron. The wind must have been just amazing as the rain.
I love the rain, but not when the wind comes along with it. We have to get use to this Tassie weather, I am glad that I have a new job I was thinking this morning and this will mean that I will not have to walk the 3 kms each morning in the rain and wind.
